Flathead Threads was born from a love of the outdoors and the spirit of adventure. Our founder, John Dalpiaz, grew up in Northwest Montana, where skiing, hiking, and fishing weren’t just hobbies—they were a way of life.
Inspired by the natural beauty of Flathead Lake, John created a unique topographic map design that captured the essence of the place he loved. Thanks to his loving and helpful family. What began as a simple idea quickly grew into something more. He started selling shirts out of the back of his car at the Polson Farmers Market, and the response was overwhelming.
From those early days, we've grown our vision—offering high-quality, eco-conscious apparel that celebrates the outdoor lifestyle and supports local communities. You can now find Flathead Threads at farmers markets, art festivals, local vendors, and online.
